CPE Tech is proud to announce the successful completion of a beach cleaning initiative at Batu Layar, Pengerang, organized by our Compliance Department. A dedicated team of 49 staff and workers participated in the two-hour event, contributing to the preservation of our local environment.
As a token of appreciation for the local town council support, Mr. Chang Jack Ee (“Mr. Jacky”), Head of the Compliance Department, presented a souvenir to Majlis Perbandaran Pengerang. The company’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Hun Jiang Yann, was also present to show his support for this important community effort.
“We are committed to making a positive impact in our community and are grateful for the support from the local council,” said Mr. Jacky. “This initiative not only helps keep our beaches clean but also fosters a sense of responsibility among our employees.”
In a creative effort to promote sustainability, the banner used for our group photo was made from recycled paper and garbage bags. After the photo session, all the garbage bags were utilised to collect waste from the beach, reinforcing our commitment to responsible waste management.
CPE Tech looks forward to continuing our environmental initiatives and working closely with local partners to promote sustainability.
