As Lunar New Year festivities draw near, CPE Tech reaffirms its longstanding commitment to corporate social responsibility by extending a helping hand to disadvantaged groups. Led by the Chief Financial Officer and joined by several managers and members of the cycling team, CPE Tech recently visited Persatuan Kebajikan Darul Hanan Johor Bahru a children’s home in Pasir Gudang, to lend support.
During the visit, in response to the home’s request, CPE Tech actively participated in the establishment of a small vegetable garden. This initiative not only provides an engaging activity for the children but also promises a future supply of fresh produce. The tour, guided by the home’s head, Puan Norhasliza Bt Ab Aziz, showcased various facilities, including a bee farm consisting of sixty artificial beehives. The honey produced not only nourishes the children but is also sold externally to supplement the home’s finances.
In addition to these efforts, CPE Tech generously prepared lunch for all the children and staff, fostering a sense of community and goodwill. Furthermore, CPE Tech announced its intention to further support the children’s home by sponsoring an additional 2 artificial beehives and providing a cash donation of RM 5,000 to assist with operational expenses.
